|| Special Needs Child Care Attendant
|| Looking for an attendant for 8 year old son with Autism at a home in Bristow. Job duties include playing turn taking games, prompting child through routine tasks such as picking up toys, practicing conversational skills with child, occasional errands related to child's needs. A parent will be home during attendant's hours and available to help with questions/concerns. The job is paid through the state of Virginia at a rate of $11.70 per hour. Hours can be as little as 5 hours a week or up to 20 hours per week. Looking for folks available around 4-6 PM weekdays. Weekend time is an option but not necessary. Lots of flexibility - does not have to be the same schedule each week. Enthusiasm and some experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred. Must be at least 18 years old per state regulations.
