AP Testing Starts May 5

Patriot parents & students: AP testing is from May 5 through May 16. Please click here for specific dates and times for each subject. This information is also available from the "Calendar" link above. For testing locations, students should ask their individual teachers.
SOL Testing Begins May 2

Patriot parents & students: SOL End of Course Testing begins May 2 and continues throughout most of May. Please refer to Patriot's online calendar from the "Calendar" link above for the exact dates and subjects to be tested each day. Our ITRT, Ms. Lowry, has created a "livebinder" of SOL review resources to assist with studying!
Patriot "The Outlet" Coffeehouse April 25

Do you like to sing, play an instrument, or perform poetry? If so, than The Outlet, Patriot's coffeehouse performance, is the event for you! The coffeehouse will take place Friday, April 25, 7:00pm, in Commons I. Students interested in performing can sign up outside room 1104.
Patriot Fair & Car Show

The Patriot PTSA invites you to come out and join us for the upcoming Patriot Fair, Saturday, April 26, 10:00am-4:00pm. Click here for more information. This promises to be a fun-filled day! Hope to see you there!
Volunteers Needed - Fair & Car Show

Planning on coming to the Patriot Fair & Auto Show this Saturday? Why not volunteer to help out, as well! The time committment is small and the help is very much appreciated! Click here to sign up to help! 
USA Science & Engineering Festival

Please come to this free event in the Washington Convention Center April 26 &  27, 9:00am-6:00am. It is the largest STEM education event in the United States. There will be over 750 booths of Professional Scientists in all fields of Science to speak to along with hands-on activities, a book fair, workshops and stage shows. Click here to find out more.
Conservation Camp for Teens

The Prince William Soil & Water Conservation District, in partnershop iwh Ducks Unlimited and the Prince William/Fairfax Farm Bureau, will sponsor two applicants to attend the Youth Conservation Camp at Virginia Tech July 13-19. If chosen, the selected students will pay only $50 for the entire week! Click here for the flyer or here for the application. Deadline to apply is April 24.
Food Drive Underway

The National Honor Society food drive is currently underway. Please bring donations of nonperishable food items to your English classes or to Ms. Scott’s class, room #1111. Dontations will be accepted through April 30. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Scott at scottbj@pwcs.edu. Thank you!
Patriot Junior/Senior Prom 2013-2014

Prom is May 17. Guest forms are required for non-Junior/Senior Patriot students. All students will need to complete the Prom contract, review the dress code, and submit completed paperwork by April 22.  Tickets go on sale April 28th.  Checks accepted through May 2.  After May 2, tickets are cash only. 
Autism 5k Walk/Run April 26

Patriot's Interact Club is hosting the "Supporting Autism Around the World" 5K Walk/Run April 26, starting at 7:00am. Click here for the flyer. We hope to see everyone there to support this event. Click here to register.
